George leaves behind his wife, Beth Butler May; his children, Dr. Sarah K. May (Newton, MA), Geoffrey A. May (South Hamilton, MA) and Peter F. May (Brattleboro, VT); six grandchildren, Charles S. May, George A. May, III, Caroline S. May, Benson C. May, Gideon C. May and Isabella M. May; and one great-grandchild, Hadley J. May.
A Memorial service will be held at First Parish Church in Weston, MA, at 11:00 am, on Friday, March 7.
Memorial contributions may be made in George's name to the Dr. Grable Surgical Education Fund at the Newton Wellesley Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association. Douglass/Customer logo
