When I think of Dorchester and growing up, I think of the Townsends. They were so intertwined with my family - and especially the Daley cousins. The Townsend house was always the place to be - some of the nicest people I knew. I was sort of an odd ball, but they always made me feel welcome - Glen, George and all the kids. A reflection on the parenting and faith in action.
Prayers and fond memories, regret I couldn't be there to give my condolences in person, but even today - over 50 years later, I always count the Townsends as 'family' and send love, as do, I know, the rest of the Kast family.

My wife Connie and I send our condolences to the Townsend family. I have known George my whole life, we grew up together, were childhood friends, and were later drafted and entered the US Army together at the start of WW II. He was a lifelong friend and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

Bill and I send our sympathy to the family. He is reunited brith his wife and others in heaven and you will see him again. We remember our days in Dorchester at the church and community with the family. He was a rch and blessed man. He served his country, loving husband and father, devoted church member, loyal employee...
