Jan and family. Know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. How does one start to say everything thing that we remember about George ? His loving and caring ways, his contagious laughter, and the fun we had at the Mansfield reunions. Rest in peace my friend. I can hear him now singing in the heavenly choir. George was my older brother by three years and I enjoyed growing up with him in Dorchester. I have fond memories of him ice fishing in the winter and fishing off the gas tank pier and Adams St. river bridge. George was always available to offer help to any family member in the time of need and old age care with his beloved wife Jan. He truly loved all his children and grandchildren and told me he wanted to live as long as he could seeing them growing up and loving them. I was glad that he and my brother Charlie flew out to California for a salmon river fishing trip five years ago. The three of us had a great time laughing and joking about our childhood memories and catching salmon. I will miss him dearly and my prayers go out to him and his family forever. Love Bob Wallace

George Wallace was one of the Greatest Human Beings and Friend that I have ever met. We have been together at the USS Mansfield Reunion for 20 years. My Wife and I will greatly miss George at the Reunion for many years to come. He was Honest in every aspect of Life and his word was exactly what you could expect from George. Rest In Peace George. We Love You.
