Irish Blessing
May the road
rise up to meet you,
May the wind
be always at your back,
May the sun shine
warm upon your face,
And the rains fall
soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you
in the palm of His hand.
Love you always and forever,

DAD
We'll always remember, that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us. You being there for Mom and us through good and bad times, no matter what. We'll always remember you Dad because they'll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we will always have for you.
Until we meet again....
Love always and forever,

Thinking about you at Christmastime Dad, we all miss you so very much...
REMEMBER ME
TO THE LIVING, I AM GONE
TO THE SORROWFUL, I WILL NEVER RETURN
TO THE ANGRY, I WAS CHEATED
BUT TO THE HAPPY, I AM AT PEACE
AND TO THE FAITHFUL, I HAVE NEVER LEFT
I CANNOT SPEAK, BUT I AM LISTENING
I CANNOT BE SEEN, BUT I CAN BE HEARD
SO AS YOU STAND UPON A SHORE
GAZING AT A BEAUTIFUL SEA,
AS YOU LOOK UPON A FLOWER
AND ADMIRE ITS SIMPLICITY, REMEMBER ME.
REMEMBER ME IN YOUR HEART, YOUR
THOUGHTS, AND YOUR MEMORIES,
OF THE TIMES WE LOVED
THE TIMES WE CRIED
THE TIMES WE FOUGHT
THE TIMES WE LAUGHED
FOR IF YOU ALWAYS THINK OF ME,
I WILL NEVER HAVE GONE...
Love always,
Eileen

I have thought about you too, all year long.
Aunt and Uncle Jerry, I have such fond memories of you both since my early childhood. Thank you so much.
I'm so glad I stopped by with my daughter, Erin, on that Tuesday morning, in the summer of 2006. I knocked on the open door, walked in, looked around for about 5 minutes, and then almost left because nobody answered. My Uncle Jerry finally came up from downstairs. He was always happy to see me, and gave me a big hug and kiss. We sat, laughed and talked about family, looked at some old photos of the Kelleys, and had the greatest visit. Little did I know that would be our last. Thank you again. I will never forget it.

What we'd give if we could say,
Hello, Dad, in the same old way;
To hear your voice, and see your smile,
To sit with you and chat awhile,
So if you who have a father,
Cherish him with care,
For you'll never know the heartache,
Till you see his vacant chair
So sadly missed,
Love always Eileen, Don, Bridget & Donny

Never Ready to Say Goodbye
We're never ready to say goodbye
To someone we hold dear.
If it were up to us, dear Dad,
We'd always keep you here.
But God has reasons of His own
And plans we cannot know,
And these are always for our good,
Thought it may seem not so.
Our arms are empty and our hearts
Are filled with tears and grief,
for we who loved each day with you,
Now find those days too brief.
Yet if we could only heaven see,
We'd know you're happy there,
And we would never call you back
When such great joy you share.
And so we'll trust you to God's great care
And know some day, once more,
We'll hold you to our hearts again
When we reach heaven's shore
Love you always Dad

A week has already gone by
Our hearts ache, we try not to cry
You'll live in our hearts forever
We'll make you proud and always stay together
We'll love and support each other
but most especially our Dear Mother
Don't you worry Dad, you can rest in peace
We are all there for Mom, she will never be alone
I'll think of you and love you everyday Dad
I will always be there for my kids as you were always there for me
They will always know how much I love them...and when I hold them and squeeze three times...they will always remember how much their Pup loves them too.
Always and Forever Dad,

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

When I think of Dad I think of a warm hug, I think of the songs he loved to sing when we were little, "Nickelodeon" Zippidy Do Da","Bye Bye Blackbird" he loved to hug us and sign to us.
When I think of Papa with the grandkids I think of the long hugs while he hummed "mmmmmm...", I think of all the warm greetings and names he had for the kids, "little fella", "little sweetie".
When I think of Dad I think of good times, large family gatherings and a good card game. Everyone always welcomed.
Mostly when I think of Dad I think of the great love and respect he had for my Mother. He made sure we all knew how much he loved Ma each and every day.
Happy Birthday Dad
I love you always,
Eileen

Dear Aunt Jerry and family,
I will miss Uncle Jerry. You have my deepest sympathies. I feel so very, very blessed to have had the chance to visit him back in July.
He was as witty and sharp as ever. We talked about everything ranging from my mother and father, politics, Boston Latin, family members, talk radio and much more.
And we got some great pictures too!
I am so happy that my wife Louisa and son Owen finally got to meet him. Eventually I will meet Uncle Jerry again and we will pick up our conversation then.
