CROCKER, Geraldine Angela "Gerry" (Hall) Departed this earth at the age of 95 on June 5, 2021 at her daughter's home in Cummaquid, MA. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Geraldine was predeceased by her loving husband of over 60 years the late Roderick & "Roddy" Hynes Crocker, Sr.
Geraldine was born in Somerville MA on May 30, 1926 to her parents, the late Zelmer Alton Hall and Mary Agnes (Deignan) Hall. She spent her childhood years in Somerville, MA, Brooks, ME, and Montreal with her sisters who have all left this earth; Mary Antonelli, Irene Jones, Helena Flynn, and Kay Boch.
Geraldine and her husband Roderick raised their family in Stoneham, MA while summering in West Hyannisport, MA. Summer days at her Cape Cod home were always her favorite.
As an occupation, Geraldine enjoyed a long career in furniture sales and interior design for both Barbos Furniture in Stoneham, MA and Paines Furniture in Boston, MA.
Geraldine was a member of The Hyannisport Club in Hyannis Port, MA for well over fifty years, where she enjoyed her many hobbies of bridge, golf, and tennis. Equally important was celebrating many family occasions and making wonderful lifelong friendships.
Geraldine would say her greatest gifts in life were her son and daughter, her grandchildren, and her great-grandson. Family time was her favorite time. Geraldine was always up for gathering family and friends together at her home on Cape Cod. Those memories will sustain her loved ones for generations to come.
Geraldine is survived by and will be deeply missed by her son, Dr. Roderick H. Crocker, Jr. and his wife Judith of Lexington, MA; her daughter Leslie J. (Crocker) Hall and her husband Reid of Cummaquid, MA; her grandchildren Kyle D. McDonald of West Hyannisport, MA, Kara A. Harris and her husband Luke of West Hyannisport, MA, Erin A. Pitcher and her husband Joshua of Abington, MA, Dr. Andrew B. Crocker and his wife Jennifer of Belmont, MA, and Meghan E. Crocker and her longtime boyfriend, Beau Stanton of New York City, NY; as well as her great-grandson, Flynn J. Harris of West Hyannisport, MA. She also leaves behind many cherished relatives and friends.
A visiting hour will be on Monday June 14, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Chapman Funerals & Cremations, John-Lawrence Chapel, 3778 Falmouth Road, MARSTONS MILLS, MA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11AM in Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 S. Main Street, Centerville, MA. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery.
