We were in Florida and did not know of Harold's passing until today. I am terribly shocked and saddened. I'll always remember the wonderful pool games we had at the JCC many years ago.

Hello Rose.
I am so sorry to hear about Harold.
I was lucky enough to get to know him just a little when my wife and I bought his building in Somerville.
Harold is legendary in the Boston sign industry as a business-man and a gentleman.
My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family.

Harold was such a wonderful role model for us in the early 1980s, when our kids were little and Geoffrey worked at BBS. The strong work ethic and devotion to family Harold constantly demonstrated still influence us today. And it was always a pleasure to see the twinkle in his eyes when he opened the trunk of his car and pulled out his cleats! He was a true mensch and it was a pleasure to know him.

I spent one of the best hours of my life last March 27th getting to know my cousin Harold and listening to him tell me about our family way back when. I always appreciated the many visits he made to see my dad, George Merlin, at the nursing home.
I will miss him.
