Herb was one of the finest people I have ever known. One of the finest anyone could know. Kind, generous, warm hearted, supportive, comforting, encouraging with a sense of humor to match. He loved life and most central his share life and lifelong love with Shirley. I have been fortunate to have him as my uncle, mentor and dear friend all these many years. There are not enough words to say how important and special he has been to me. And there are not words enough to say how much I will miss him. My/our thoughts and hearts are with Shirley, Nancy, Sandy and Jimmy and their families.
