ROSEN, Herbert C. Of Sudbury on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Beloved husband of Lois. Devoted father of Eric Rosen and his wife Hadassah Segal, Alisa Rosen, Alan Rosen and his wife Abigail Posner. Loving "Papa" of Zayna Barakat, Sophie Rosen, Adah and Elodie Rosen. Dear brother of the late Adele Cohen. Herb was born on July 20, 1940 and grew up in Brockton, MA where his wife of 62 years, Lois (Katz) was also from. After graduating from Boston University and Tufts Dental School, he served as a Captain in the Army from 1965 to 1967 at Fort Hood, TX, where he was a dentist. He moved with his family to Sudbury, MA in 1969 where he was an active member of Temple Beth El. Professionally, he worked as an endodontist in Worcester, MA, while also teaching at Tufts Dental School. Herb loved hiking, traveling, being on Cape Cod, and cheering on the Celtics. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Services at Congregation Beth El, 105 Hudson Road, Sudbury on Wednesday, June 26 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Brockton at the Agudas Achim Cemetery, 1000 Pearl St, Brockton. Shiva will be at the family home on Wednesday at 7:00 PM, Thursday at 6:30 PM and Sunday at 3:00 PM.
