JACOB JOHNSON Obituary

JOHNSON, Jacob Tyler 21, of East Bridgewater passed away on May 4, 2018. He was the son of Carl H. Johnson of East Bridgewater and Hope H. (Gauthier) Johnson of Framingham. Jacob was a student at UMass Amherst, graduating this Friday, May 11, 2018 with his bachelor's degree. He was interning at the Boston Globe as a journalist and was recently hired to start working after graduation.

He was admired for his genuine character, intellect & wit. He most often had his head stuck in a book about JFK or some other inspiring figure like Phil Elverum or he would chat about making another one of Mumma's recipes. Then he would switch back to the subject on theories of life and matter.

He admired the peace and comfort of being at home, waking up to a cup of coffee, watching the Bruins win another game or driving to the Venus for food & drink with his crew.

Jacob is survived by his father, Carl H. Johnson and his fiancee Erin of East Bridgewater; his mother, Hope H. Johnson of Framingham; his sister, Hannah Johnson of East Bridgewater, his grandmother, Frances Gauthier of Whitinsville. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles. Jacob was predeceased by his grandfathers, Carl A. Johnson, Ken "Bumpa" Gauthier and his grandmother, Eleanor Johnson Armogeda. Jacob's love for his family was unequalled, especially for his 2 cousins he considered his brothers, Connor Gauthier & Paul Horte.

He sure did leave a special imprint on every person that crossed his path.
