Uncle Jim,
Farewell soldier and patriarch. We will truly miss your company. You were so interesting to talk to, always up on current events as well as being full of wisdom from your long and storied life. Your presence will be missed at all family gatherings, especially at East Street where we will forever picture you sitting in 'your' chair at the kitchen table. Give our love to all you now greet and enjoy forever God's peace which you have earned through your life here on earth.
Love,
Betsy, Joseph and Matthew

Dear Nanu,
You have always been a caring and concerned grandfather.
Each time I talked to you, you gave me wonderful advice that I will always remember.
You had such a warm heart.
Thank you, Nanu, for all of the love you gave and for being a wonderful grandfather.

Nanu you were a nice grandfather.
I liked you as a solider too.
I will always remember you telling stories in your chair.
You always listeined to me and you told me to stick with the drums.
I will do this and will always think of you when I play them, Nanu.
Rory misses you too but we are happy you are in heaven.
Thank you for being you and I am sending a hug to heaven for you.

Mr. Araby,
We first met when I was 2 and and I was 5 , you excepted us as real great grandkids and welcomed us with open arms, I will always remember you singing "oh Danny boy" when I entered the room, and I will always you being the only one to call me "Russie". We will miss you forever but thank you for excepting us and allowing us to be part of your family.
Love,
Russ and Dan Lindskog

Dear Mr. Araby,
You were always a kind and dear man.
You always had a smile on your face and always had something positive and interesting to talk about.
Will miss you, but know that you are in a better place now.
I am so very happy that Ashley, Cole and Rory had you as their grandfather because you taught them so much about being kind and always reminded them to read, which is so important today.
Will always remember your stories too, and always remember how you referred to each of us as "honey" when you spoke to us.
Love,
Dianne Araby

Nonno,
From the moment we met and I reached my tiny hand up and stole your Red Sox cap off your head and all you did was laugh I knew we would be buddies for life. I will miss you forever! I will remember you forever! But Mom says you are an angel and can watch over me forever , she says you are the pretty butterflies that fly by me, icecream and all the things I love.xoxo
I Love you,
Your Great grandson,

Your all together now, Frank, Mike, Jim, Antoinette & Joe. You've left not only empty seats in the kitchen at 225 East Street and around the pool, but empty spaces in our hearts. What an incredible life you lived Uncle Jim - doing it all your way (sorry Frank, but Uncle Jim did it way before you). We'll have to rely on Edie and Frannie now, for the "old stories". Watch over me. I loved you a lot, I know you knew that, and will miss you more. Arrivederci, Zio.
