D'AMBROSIO, James J. Of the North End of Boston, Jan. 3, 2015. Beloved husband of Barbara (Coppola) D'Ambrosio and the late Madeline (Mantone) D'Ambrosio. Loving father of Karen Holt and her husband Michael of Medford, and Jimmy D'Ambrosio and his wife June of Pelham, NH. Loving brother of Theresa Graham and her husband Larry of Wilmington and the late Joseph D'Ambrosio. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 at 9:45 AM in St. Leonard's Church, Hanover St., Boston (North End). Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, Mass. Visiting hours in the church on Wed., Jan. 7, 2015 from 4 - 7 P.M. Late Vet US Navy, Late elevator mechanic for over 40 years. Retired owner of 3 Phase Elevator Corp. of E.Bridgewater, Mass. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Arthritis Assoc., 39 Cross St., Peabody, Mass. 01960 or The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Mass 01701.

D'Ambrosio Family,,,,met Jim in the Navy @ VFP-62 Jacksonville FL 1957. Became close Navy buddies, home with me many weekends to Miami. He loved his family. When Karen and Jimmy were very young the family came to visit us in Miami, early 70's RIP Jim. John and Colleen Dwyer

Dear Barbara, Karen & Jim
I have had the pleasure of knowing Gentlemen Jim for 20+ years while he took care of his favorite past time "My Madelyn". Jim always stopped in the office to chat and tell me all about his travels with you Barbara. He was so hoping to spend more time with you. He was truly a wonderful, kind, loving man who has left behind a marina full of fellow boaters who all had the same respect for Jim as I. On behalf of his friends at the marina we wish him Godspeed. Papa, theres not a day that goes by that i dont think about you, i miss you so much, your my best friend, we've had so many good memories together i will never forget you, i remember the time on the boat and we saw that huge fish, the look and smile on your face was priceless, everytime i close my eyes i see the smile on your face. i just wanna take the time now to say Thank you for always being there for me and thank you for everything that you have done for me, i love you more than anything Papa you're everything to me and more. these next few days are going to be hard, i miss you like crazy papa, i wish this was all just a bad dream
