Here it is Dad coming up on 5 years since we last sat down and had lunch , chat, and laughed together. I miss all the stories of all of us kids growing up and the things we put you and mom through time and time again. I was never luckier than to have a father and mother who always thought of us kids first in everything you both did. You worked so hard to provide us with more than most kids will ever have growing up, the camp, boats, cars, $$ when we needed it and were afraid to ask, always being there to help us fix our homes etc... I will never hold anything more precious in my heart than the two days we went hunting up at Howe Hill in the grove and while we were talking siting there on that downed log, you out of the blue told me how much you loved me and was so proud of me and how much you loved my family, Dallas and the boys and Alisha..It just took me down to me knees having a father's love like yours..I miss your advice and our visits together..Now that I am older I see through your eyes and things are clearer now, all the words have color and so much more meaning.. I look forward to the day that I can be with you both again..My heart feels so very much sadness but, also happiness at the same time that you are with God in heaven this very moment. Please keep an eye out for me when you can and Karen, jimmy and Bobby as well and all of our kids, help us when you can, guide us to do right and protect us from the bad..Speak to you soon Mom&Dad Love Donny

To the Doolin Family,
It is with great sadness that we learned today, that Jim passed away in November. Our deepest sympathies to all of you. Your Dad was such a beautiful person. We feel blessed to have had him as part of our lives and will forever treasure his friendship. Peace and love to all of you.

Mr. Doolin,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
