JAMES TOLMAN Obituary
Born in Cambridge, MA, son of Cheryl A. (Plocharczyk) Tolman-Duff of Sandwich and James E. Tolman of Harwich, he grew up in Fairhaven where he graduated from Fairhaven High School, lived on the Cape, and had lived in Watertown for the past eight years.
He was a member of the New England Regional Council of Carpenter's Union, Local 339. James was a very out going friendly person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his parents; his grandmother, Lillian Plocharczyk of Sandwich; a sister, Madison M. Tolman of Harwich; his nephew, Mason Tolman of Fairhaven, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. James was the brother of the late Ryan D. Tolman.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 18, 2020, in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven at 12pm. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., FAIRHAVEN. For memorial register please visit:

My nephew James was so much more than my nephew - he was my friend, who was "one of a kind."
I have so many great memories when we were young going swimming at Lord Phillips with him, or going to the beach down Fairhaven or in our older years at Nahant up in Boston.
The times my sister Cheryl would take us to to Celtics/76ers game with james and Ryan. All of us are hardcore Boston sports fans!
I was just thinking the other day how i felt lucky that James and I got to see so mant great sports moments...enjoying the Patriots most recent Superbowl over the L.A Rams 13-3! We spent it together and it was a great night with a lot of high-fives and hugs,
So many memories of us taking his dog "Buster-Brown" swimming, or watching the office with Michael Scott, or the Sons of Anarcy together, driving in his truck on a summer day singing our favorite tunes!
I love u James and u will never be forgotten and I am sure you are reunited with your brother Ryan in Heavan..love u guys forevet R.I.P

First met jimmy couple years ago in Watertown right away my kind of guy upfront no nonsense hardworking always a hug and a few meals together at local Deli and many laughs I will miss u my friend and yourself and Family will always be in my Prayers God Bless
