JANE E. MCCORMICK

McCORMICK, Jane E. Of Belmont, passed away on June 18, 2021. Beloved sister of Ann McCormick of Jamaica Plain, Ellen Fobert of Lexington, Liz McCormick of Halesworth, England, and her late brothers, John McCormick and Thomas McCormick. Devoted aunt to eleven nieces and nephews, thirteen grandnieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on July 10th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 30 Common St., Belmont. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment private. Jane had a successful forty year career with General Motors Insurance Company, then went on to work at Harvard Business School Admissions Office, where she happily spent twenty-six years, retiring at age eighty-seven. Jane and her hospitality were treasured by all who met her – whether they stayed for a dinner, a day, a month or a year. She was the living embodiment of her faith and a dedicated member of St. Joseph's Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations to one of Jane's favorite charities, The Beech Street Senior Center, would be appreciated. Checks should be made payable to: Friends of the Belmont Council on Aging.
