As a very close friend of the Packers, I am gratified to read the tributes to Jay and the expressions of love and support for Jo and her two wonderful boys, Zach and Harrison. I'd like everyone to know that Joanne has established the JAY S. PACKER MEMORIAL FUND for fatherless boys. Contributions can be send to: The Jay S. Packer Memorial Fund, c/o Fleet Bank, 15 Post Office Square, Sharon, MA 02067. Jo plans this fund as a tribute to Jay, who took such pride and joy in his boys and who would be immensely proud of Jo for trying to improve the lives of fatherless boys in the local area.
Thank you for any amount you can contribute!

What a great guy! I remember well how much Jay enjoyed being with his sons, Zachery and Harrison and taking them boating, skiing and showing them how to do so many things! What a dad! and I can't tell you how much we will all miss him! but am thankful for all he has done for so many people especially his family and friends .. Jay has always been one of the most generous people I know. He will be missed by many, but fondly remembered all. We love Jay, and we love Joanne his wonderful wife and partner for so many years ... and, we love as Jay did his most precious sons! May the Lord bless and keep you all .. aunt jean
