We had a nice white Christmas even though it was about 40 degrees out. Nancy and Judy stopped by the day before Xmas and brought the snowblower along (just kidding, they shoveled) and found your spot. Dad, Stephen and I brought by the flower bucket with real candy canes in it. Nancy and Judy put in the nice hanging flower ball and they had fun digging in the frozen ground in order to plant it. We miss you a lot.
Love- Jim, Brian, and Stephen.

I knew Jeannie since I was about 15 years of age as a friend of her brother Jack.
Only later in life did I talk to her during her difficult times she had with her kidney problems.
My occasional conversations during her better years were light and happy. She even came to my house in Reading, only a few miles from her own in Middleton.
I sensed her great difficulty in her voice as I would continue to talk to her to give her encouragement.
She was confident in dealing with her difficult health problems.
She was so happy when she told me about living with her second chance in life--a second kidney.
She was truly an inspiration. And she didn't express regrets about not getting another kidney.
May God bless her for the fortitude that she showed us and the life she shared with us.
God bless her family and friends in this time of sorrow.

When I face one of life's many challenges and all seems too much I think of my sister Jean. All that she faced in life was done with grace and grit. She has been and will continue to be my inspiration. I love her and miss her and I know in my heart she is now happy and free of pain and that thought frees me. I love you, Bill

My sister Jeannie was always an inspiration to me. In the past eighteen or so years Jeannie had to face many medical obstacles. She always gave it her best and I believe God gave her many miracles.
Jeannie and Jim raised two wonderful sons that are good human beings. Jim, Brian and Stephen should find peace in knowing Jeannie loved them dearly.
I will alway miss Jeannie's beautiful big blue eyes and infectious laugh.
However, I do find peace knowing that we were always straight out and honest with each other.
I love my sister and I'm so happy she is finally FREE of pain.

Jeannie was one very special lady. She was always so strong and would keep going no matter what. She is an inspiration for us all! She was always thinking and doing things for others even though she was going through so much herself. The Hansbury's and Quinn's have always been a very special part of our family. God Bless you all, my deepest sympathies to the family.
Heaven has another very special Angel.
Love,

I first met Jean when I was a teenager around 40 years ago. She and my sister Loretta were the best of friends. I remember the night they went to the "Y" dance in Charlestown all dressed up in beautiful gowns - what an awesome sight! I remember most their laughter and excitement as they left in my sister's old car wearing these absolutely gorgeous dresses.
Jean was one of the most courageous people I have ever known. During out visits, phone conversations and outings, she would constantly encourage me by offering very sage advice about life, expecially regarding the medical field as I was going through a health challenge myself. She was such a wonderful gift to anyone who was fortunate to know her.
She had such an amazing sense of humor which was always so infectious. One time Jean told me that when she got her health back, all she wanted to do was help others - share experiences and give others hope. Her example in living a life against so many odds gave hope to all of us. I will always treasure my memories of her and know that God has graced my life with her light, laughter and love. I will truly miss her. Now the struggle and pain are over, Jean is at peace.
