With great sadness I just saw Jeanne's obituary. I first met Jeanne as my clinical supervisor @ BC School of SW. She was then and continued to be one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known. Her loss will be felt by countless numbers of people both clients and friends.

Jeanne introduced me to her friend/second cousin, Bob Davidoff, in 1970 and we were together from that day forth until his death. She also had enough faith in me to choose me as one of the first Big Sisters to take part in a pilot program of interracial Big Sister-Little Sister matches in 1968 following Dr. King´s assassination. Both of these events were instrumental in forming the person who I became and I will be forever grateful to Jeanne.

Jeanne was my role model and I told her this many times. She was instrumental in my most formative years. I felt and feel that I had more in common with the Weston branch of Yozells than the Marblehead family into which I was born. I love you all. Wish I could be with you. Bette
