Jeffrey G. Laliberte

LALIBERTE, Jeffrey G. Age 63, of Slate Hill Farm Middletown, RI died January 31, 2010 after fighting a brave and courageous 7 year battle with lymphoma . He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Janice M. (Sahib) Laliberte and his beloved dog "Leo". Also surviving are his sister in laws Mary Connolly and her husband Thomas of TN., Rosalie Finnegan and her husband James of RI., Veronica Gagnon and her husband Robert of MA. and Fl. ,3 nephews and 5 nieces. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Lionel and Theresa (Faucher) Laliberte. He was a US Army Veteran and served with the 78th Engineer Battalion, stationed in Germany. He was a proud member of the Union of Operating Engineers Local #4 for 40 years. Jeff loved being outdoors, landscaping, gardening, entertaining, his Harley and enjoyed life to its fullest. He was a quiet, kind, peaceful man and a wonderful husband. His wife and family are thankful for the great care, compassion and support given to him by Dr. Mark Shparber during his long illness. Visiting hours will be held Thurs. Feb. 4, 2010 from 4-7:30PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St. (between Cherry and Locust Sts.) FALL RIVER. His funeral will be held on Fri. Feb. 5, 2010 at 10AM from the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 11AM in St. Anthony of the Desert Church's St. Sharbel Hall, 300 North Eastern Ave. Fall River.
