So sorry to hear about Jeff's passing. Growing up with Jeff, I remember fondly playing hockey with Jeff and other friends in the neighborhood at the rinks and on the local ponds. I also recall carpooling with Jeff, his dad and teammates to hockey games all over Middlesex County listened to the Bruins on the radio. Jeff was a gifted hockey player who loved the game but he was far more than that. Jeff was smart, likeable and a gentle soul who was respected by those around him. RIP, Jeff.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Jeff's passing... I worked with Jeff for several years at Analog Devices. He was a "down to earth" true friend and a gentle soul. He was such a joy to be around...! I'll never forget the times we spent on the softball team together and Jeff's hysterical sense of humor. Jeff, I love you and will NEVER forget you my friend....

When I was three we moved to Sudbury just a few houses down from the Vorderers. Soonafter I met up with Chris and despite a fiery start we became lifelong friends. I never really knew Jeff growing up as I was 5 years older than him. It wasn't until well after high school that I got to know Jeff. Through Chris I would be included on dinner's out, hiking, various local trips Etc. It was then that I got to appreciate Jeff for who he was. Always looked forward to seeing him! He was just always so pleasant . Whether it be talking about sports, politics, or whatever, great mix of intelligence and humility. Not a bad bone in his body.
I feel blessed to have known Jeff and to have grown up in that neighborhood and to have had the Vorderers in my life.
Just a wonderful family!

Jeffrey was one of the most faith-filled, gentle and kind people you would ever meet. He was a blessing to our St. Anselm Church, as is his family. May he rest in peace after a valiantly fought battle with cancer. Jeffrey will be greatly missed.

Jeff and I worked together at ADI in the Amplifier group years ago. He would always have a smile and eager to take on the toughest measurements. Jeff and I worked together to release our group's 1st 1GHz operational amplifier and this was a big deal for us. We drove to Norwood MA to pick up the released datasheet. While there, we snuck up to the executive offices to visit our co-founder Ray Stata so he could autograph the datasheet for us. We both were a little nervous but decided to go for it. We got as far as his secretary's desk and asked if we could see "Uncle" Ray. He was out so WE autographed a datasheet with a note and asked for it be delivered to Ray when he got back. We each received a note either in inter-office mail or email congratulating us on our accomplishment. It was a special time for us, and I am so glad to have done this with Jeff. He will always be my friend!!! Rest in His Peace my good friend

Chris, Steve and members of Jeff's family. My deepest condolences on the passing of Jeff. I met Jeff and got to know him during the Sunday morning Hockey skate when Fred was still running it. Fierce competitor, loyal teammate and a just a great guy. There is no higher compliment. He will be missed by all who knew him but especially by those that had the distinct pleasure of sharing the ice with him on Sunday morning.

Although Jeff was a few years younger than me, I have many fond memories of growing up on Victoria Road with the Vorderer family. It was a wonderful childhood time that will stay in my heart forever. I am thankful I spent time with Jeff, Chris, and my brother Brian this past summer, Laughing and talking about the old neighborhood. Godspeed, Jeff, fly high with the angels. My sincere condolences to the Vorderer family.

Jeff was my 1st cousin (my father's sisters son), and we've known each other since we were little kids. We played at each others homes while growing up along with his brothers Chris and Steven. I admired Jeff greatly for his brilliant mind, dedication to his children and his never-ending kindness. My heart is breaking for our whole family, as we will all surely miss Jeff more than words can say! In tears now as I type. -Rest in peace Jeff!
