JIN HAN Obituary

HAN, Jin Hee and Jinna It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of Jin Hee Han, age 49, and her beloved daughter, Jinna Han, age 13, of Mansfield, MA. They tragically departed this world together on Wednesday, January 29, in the American Airlines Flight 5342 and Black Hawk helicopter crash, in Washington, D.C.

JIN HEE HAN

Jin Hee was the devoted wife of Joon Young Han; a treasured daughter of Gui Ju Suh and Su Kil Jung; and a caring daughter-in-law of Kyung Eun Han and Sun In Han. She was a loving sister to Jin Suk Jung; and a supportive sister-in-law to Viviana Kim and her husband, Eunwoo Kim, as well as Eduardo Han and his wife, Lina Han. She deeply cherished her nephews: Joshua, Caleb and Hugh Kim and Matias and Ellis Han. A woman of deep faith, Jin Hee found great fulfillment in teaching Sunday school at the Korean Presbyterian Church in Greater Boston, loving her husband, supporting her daughter and actively serving her community. Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives and she will always be remembered for her compassionate spirit, unwavering devotion and boundless love for those around her. She exuded warmth and optimism, bringing comfort and serenity to everyone she encountered.

JINNA HAN

Jinna was the adored daughter of Joon Young Han; and the beloved granddaughter of Gui Ju Suh and Su Kil Jung and Kyung Eun Han and Sun In Han. She was a cherished niece to Jin Suk Jung, Viviana Kim, Eunwoo Kim, Eduardo Han and Lina Han; and a loving cousin to Joshua, Caleb, and Hugh Kim, as well as Matias and Ellis Han. Having recently celebrated her 13th birthday, Jinna was an exceptionally gifted figure skater training at the Skating Club of Boston, with aspirations of competing in the Olympics. Her tireless dedication, perseverance and passion for the sport set her apart. Beyond the ice, she was a beacon of joy, radiating enthusiasm and positivity. Her vibrant personality, quick wit and affectionate nature left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Always ready with a clever remark followed by a warm embrace, she embodied the essence of love and light.

It is with my greatest sympathy to you. I always enjoyed watching Jinna practice and chatting with you and your amazing wife on my lunch break when I worked at the Micheli center. I am heart broken for your loss and offer you my deepest sympathies.
