Dear Robert, Maria, and Joey,
My thoughts are with you all. I have fond memories of your mom at the North End pool when we were younger. I will always remember her funny nature and kindness. She was one of the few people that could tease my dad and get away with it.

Maria,
Joanne a/k/a Mrs. Shapiro was one great lady. She was kind and generous making anyone who walked in her door feel at home. We had so many great times poolside. Joanne was always calm and looked for the best in every situation. I will miss sending her jelly beans. Rest in Peace, Joanne, you made this world a much better place.
