Joanne Keegan Newton

Of Carver, formerly of Newtonville, entered into rest September 20, 2007 after a period of declining health, Age 72. Beloved daugher of the late Michael L. and Harriet L. Keegan. Wife of the late Charles L. Newton. Sister of the late Robert, Leo, Raymond, and Lawrence Keegan. She leaves her sister-in-laws, Geraldine M. Keegan, Sr. of Holliston, Catherine Keegan of West Newton, her stepson, Charles J. Newton of Nashua, NH, her cousin, Barbara Mooney of Newton, and her nieces and nephews. Joanne retired from Raytheon Corporation, where she was a longtime employee. After retirement, Joanne moved to Carver where she was very active at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, enjoyed reading and took great pleasure in caring for her pets. Visiting hours in the Andrew J. Magni & Son F.H., 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, Newton, Tuesday morning at 9AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Newton at 10:30AM.
