John was the president of Detroit Mumford Class of 1964. There were about 800 in the class. He was everyone´s friend. He was brilliant, he was involved and will be missed by all fortunate enough to know him. I ran each of our reunions and he never missed a one.

John and I and the group of The Brookline Softball League played every Sunday for years at the High School. He was the most Kindest Human beings on the planet. I used to make him laugh all the time. Please accept my deepest sympathies to everyone in the Family. John made a huge impact ON and OFF the Field. He was a terrific educator and he will continue to be missed by everyone he has touched. He is now with his son. Rest in Peace my dear Friend!! Mark Diamond Needham, MA
