DeBay, John D. Of Saugus, formerly of (Orient Heights), East Boston, died peacefully surrounded by his family, January 10. Loving husband of Nancy Moccia-DeBay. Beloved father of Michele McDonnell of ME & Jeanine DeBay of Stoughton. He also leaves his best buddy, Jazz. Dear brother of James DeBay & his wife Marlene of Tewksbury & the late Clyde B. DeBay. Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 7 nephews & 1 niece. Son of the late Philip & Mary (Abramovitch) DeBay. Chauffeur & Mentor for Boston Coach; Transportation Director for Greater Lynn Senior Services in the 1980's. John enjoyed his annual trip to Saratoga horse races, was an avid Patriots fan & looked forward to his Wednesday evenings with neighborhood pool friends. Funeral from the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 11 a.m. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Saugus. U.S. Army veteran.
