DOOLEY, John Patrick Age 80, formerly of South Boston and Rockland, MA, died on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Born in Boston, MA on March 10, 1941, John was the son of John Francis and Anna (McNeil) Dooley who predeceased him. He was predeceased by his wife Alice (Grant) in 1965, his wife Cynthia (Wilkins) in 2015 and his sister Joan Wallace in 2011. John is survived by his sister Maureen Dooley of South Boston; his six children, Donna Dooley of Pawcatuck, CT, Laurie Packard of Rockland, MA, Peggy Dooley of New London, CT, Dianna Dahlquist of Marshfield, MA, Katie Merlini of East Bridgewater, MA and John Dooley of Whitman, MA; as well as eleven grandchildren, Grace, Hope, Trevor, Samantha, Phillip, Bridget, Patrick, Ryan, Lexi, DJ and John.

John graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School and worked as a pressman at The Boston Globe. He enjoyed golf, bowling and visiting casinos.

Visiting Hours will be on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Magoun Biggins Funeral Home in ROCKLAND, MA. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Holy Family Church, 403 Union Street in Rockland, MA at 9:00am, followed by Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, MA.
