JOHN FITTON Obituary

FITTON, John E., Jr. Of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, passed away January 15, 2013. Beloved husband of Kathleen R. (Shea) Fitton of Quincy. Loving father of John E. Fitton, III, and Mary F. Fitton, both of Quincy. John was raised in Dorchester, graduated from Cathedral High School and entered the Army, where he was an honorably discharged Veteran of the Korean war. His family was most important to him, especially his wife and two children. Mr. Fitton was an avid Boston sports fan, enjoying all the local teams, especially the Bruins and Red Sox. He was well read and always kept up with current events. His family remembers him as a generous, gentleman, with a kind soul. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45 AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
