JOHN KILGOAR Obituary

KILGOAR, John R., Jr. "Jack" Of Hanover and Florida, died August 25, 2017. Jack died as he lived, with honesty, strength and humor. He was loved more than words can say and leaves behind his beloved wife Teresa (Dalton) Killgoar of Hanover. His faithful children; daughter Jennifer Bertoncini and husband Michael, son Sean and his wife Colleen Kelly Killgoar, all of Hanover. His grandchilden, who could always make him smile, Christopher, John, Ian, Colin, Matthew and Maggie. He also leaves his sister Betty Ann Killgoar of Quincy, a brother William Killgoar and his wife Maureen of Framingham, his sister in laws Margaret McLaughlin of NH, Karen Kelly of Franklin and the late Dottie Meighan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and long time friends. He was pre deceased by his parents Randy and Peg Killgoar.

Although it was not quite the "quick check out" as Jack wished, his short time after he was diagnosed with renal cancer allowed us time to plan and reflect on the wonderful, full life we had together. We were truly blessed. We will miss his worldly wisdom and the world according to Jack and his friends Wolf, Anderson and Rachel from CNN will never be the same. MIZPAH my love.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover at 10 AM. Burial at a later date.
