Although I never knew Mr. MacKinnon, his life story is exemplary in serving many organizations and lived his faith.

I´ll always remember Jack for being a significant role model. We worked at Elm Farm Foods while we were students in high school and college. Jack welcomed me into his wonderful group of Elm Farm friends, who socialized together and supported each other for life. Due to his encouragement, I went to Boston College and became a CPA. He was a role model for me and others, because he was kind, enthusiastic, gifted and humorous. He led us in doing the right things in responsible ways, so we had no regrets.

I have fond memories of Jack and Rosemary. May their memories be a blessing for all of your families. Jack was my late husband, Art Siegel's, partner. I am so grateful to have known both Jack and Rosemary.

Jack was married to my cousin, Rosemary Thomas MacKinnon, originally of Arlington. As a kid, I remember going to visit Rosemary's parents (my uncle and aunt) and siblings (Patty and Paula) where Jack would be found. Besides being well-educated and a total professional, he was great with teasing and playing with me on my visits. He was a first-class individual that never forgot the Thomas side of the family. He recently (past 2 years) attended my oldest brother's funeral and made a point to re-introduce himself to me after 55_+ years. I will always be grateful for his acknowledgement of my brother, Leo's, passing. Sincerely, Mike Thomas, New Braunfels, Texas
