Mr. McDonough,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and the Korean War and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Our most profound sympathies are extended to all members of the family during these most difficult times. Although we only knew "Pop" McDonough for the previous few years, he was always a pleasure to be around. His sense of humor always made one feel comfortable. We feel his loss and he will always be on our personal prayer list.
He was a revered member of the "greatest generation" who stepped forward to serve and save our country when it was most needed. We are all greatful that we had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in Peace, dear veteran.
