John McEleney Obituary

McELENEY, John Joseph Of Harwich, formerly of Sudbury, MA, son of the late John J. and Joan (Sullivan) McEleney, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen (Collins) McEleney, daughters Maureen McEleney of New York City, Maryellen McEleney of Brighton, MA, and sons Michael McEleney and his wife, Kate, of Shirley, MA, John McEleney and his wife, Wendy, of Watertown, MA, and his beloved grandchildren Connor, Ryan, Meghan and Marivieve McEleney. He is also survived by his sisters Ann & Mary McEleney of West Roxbury, MA. John was preceded in death by his sisters Kathleen McEleney, Joan (McEleney) McBrien and Sheila (McEleney) DeMita. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main Street, WEST HARWICH, MA 026671 to be followed by a reception at 4:30PM at the The 400 Restaurant & Tavern, 429 Route 28 (W. Main Street), Harwich Port, MA 02646. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA of Cape Cod Hospice, 431 Route 134, Suite G1, South Dennis, MA 02660, The Neely House, 750 Washington Street, P.O. Box 0716, Boston, MA 02111 or the charity of one's choice.
