JOHN O'KEEFE Obituary

O'KEEFE, John Joseph, Jr. Passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 92, on October 21, 2018 in Cumming, Georgia. He is survived by his wife Ann Marie (Mullane) O'Keefe, five children, two sons-in-law, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. He was born in Boston to John and Mildred O'Keefe on October 7, 1926. He served during World War II in the Navy. After the war, he went on to graduate from Boston College for an undergraduate degree and later earned his master's degree at Tufts University. He married his wife Ann on October 24, 1953 and together raised five children. John "Bud" had a long and successful career at the Dow Chemical Co. where he worked and retired after 35 years. No service has been scheduled at this time.

I'm very sorry to hear of Bud's passing. He was my Mom's cousin. I remember him as a very nice man. I'm sure they're reminiscing together in Heaven.

Barbara and I extend our deepest sympathy to Ann and all of the children. Buddy was my mother's cousin and a college friend of my dad. I have fond memories of family gatherings of the extended Coakley family.
