To Mary and all the O’Sullivans, sincerest prayers and sympathy in the tragic cross God saw fit to place on you at this time. It was the fifth grade at Blessed Sacrament Grammar School and we had a new student in the class from New York and, of course we all thought he must be quite worldly. Within no time at all John was part of the crowd and melded right in. He had spunk and energy and charm. With college we went separate ways and lost track of each other over the years, but I shall never forget that fifth grade class so long, long ago when John was introduced to us. Always remember that he is still very much a part of you, for in you and all who knew him, he lives on.

"Dear O'Sullivan's et al: Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss of your husband, brother, friend. John was a classmate at Blessed Sacrament grammar school and we frequently walked home together or rode a bus in the following high school years. Many memories intertwine from grammar school, high school, and college years as I grew up in the Newton Square area and our families continued to be Blessed Sacrament parishioners. May the God Lord ease your loss."

Oh...I am so sorry to hear this news! I worked with Johno at Doremus & Company in Boston. He kept me in laughter for 13 years! I'll never forget the day he bumped into the elevator door, with me close behind. he was always the perfect gentleman and very chivalrus in holding doors open for all women, so I should have known he was up to something. He began to cry. When he turned around, he had a huge red black / red eye, which actually turned out to be a moldy strawberry that he brought in his lunch! He got a laugh from everyone on the elevator. John will be sorely missed. I have not seen him since the early 90s, but my condolences to his family and friends!

Dear Mary and all John's family-
So glad I got to see John in Brewster, newspaper under his arm, donuts in hand, coming out of the coffee shop with his brother-in-law (and mine!) Peter. He looked so happy to be there. He was always so much fun to run into at family affairs. We'll miss his smile.
