Dear Sylvia and family. John and I were "roomies" when we were first hired by American in January of 1965. We roomed together in a motel room for about 3 months and attended classes daily, so I got to know him rather well. He went to Boston and I went to Chicago, so our flying paths didn't cross too many times. I know he was a credit to the AAL pilot group. My sincere condolences.

Dear Sylvia, I will miss John on our rides up to the Flying Circus lunches. He was a good companion and he always had a good story to tell, bringing back many fond memories of our days flying together. He was one of the good guys and will be missed. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.
