I'm missing you and thinking of you Grandpa. Fathers Day was not the same. I would like to post a version of the prayer card that I received. Its beautiful and deserves to be posted:

In loving memory of Joseph (Giuseppe) Barucci
We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name;
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,... Read More
You did not go alone;
For a part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
Although we can not see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Joey, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. My fondest memory is when we were kid's and we all went into your tiny back yard to dig a built in pool.
In the end your dad was able to fit that four foot pool into such a tiny place, he was a good man and i will miss him.

Tony, Fran and your extended family - I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. From reading these entries (especially about planting tomatoes and driving his truck) it reminds me of my grandfather. All the best to your Mother as she works through this. Craig & Kristina Coffey

I am so sorry to hear about your father passing. Bryon loved him so much as I know Leanna did also. I am so sad that he will not get to see the new baby. I am sure he will be looking down from heaven though and seeing him with heavenly eyes and asking Jesus to protect him through out his life. You have our sympathies and prayers. Grandpa I miss you so much already. I have so many fond memories of you - so many memories I'll never forget. We are all so lucky to have had you and I know everyone of us can think back and smile or laugh with something witty you'd say. That was just your way. You'd fill the room with laughter and your presence was always felt. You loved Grandma, and everyone of your children and grandchildren and we always felt it. I will think of you often and smile I just wish I had one more moment but I know to be greatful for the ones we had. There are so many memories - the chicken wagon driving to our family outings - or just the many times I'd look out my window and see the blue truck in the driveway and you'd be up in the yard planting tomatoes - or just watching you and Grandma dance and even that you just had that extra "bounce" in your step. Thats how I remember you Grandpa...and I know you will always be with us. Tanti Baci Nonno. We Love you. Leanna and Bryon
