CHRISTOPHER, Joseph V. Of Belmont, Sept. 16, 2009. Beloved husband of Ursula (Herlihy) Christopher. Loving father of Joseph M. Christopher and his wife Mary Ellen of Chelmsford and William L. Christopher and his wife Maura of Winchester. Cherished "POP" to Deanna, Joey, Billy and Kate. Also survived by his brother-in-law Robert E. Herlihy and his wife Ruth of Arlington. Mr. Christopher was a graduate of Boston College class of 1950 and retired from Verizon in 1992 after working for 39 years. Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd, BELMONT, Tuesday Sept. 22 at 9:00 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St, Arlington at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment Private. Late U.S. Navy Veteran W.W.II. On line guest book at www.brownandhickey.com
