Dear Joe, Barbara, Steven, Kristina, and George--

Papa Joe's memory will always be with me. I will never forget his cheery smiles, warm hugs, and hearty hello's whenever I saw him in the yard. The "Mayor of franklin street" was well loved as he greeted passerby and brought cheer to the many who walked by.

I will always think of him with the sun warming his shoulders.

I will miss him dearly and offer my deepest condolences to you all. He was such a great person, grandfather, father, neighbor, and friend.

We are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Favaloro was a wonderful person. My fondest memory of him was at the East Somerville Community School yearly barbeque behind the grill. He helped feed more than 600 students and staff....always a smile, always available to help the school. He will be missed. A great loss to his family and friends.
