Semper Fi Marine O'Connor.
The Dept. of Ma. Marine Corp League thanks you for your service to God, our Country, and to our Beloved Corps.
To the family and friends of Marine Joseph, the MCL and its members as well as all Marines offer our deepest sympathy and send our prayers to you during this trying time. Reflect on Joseph's life and remember that he has simply transferred to a new Duty Assignment with God and will be at the gates of Heaven watching over you forever. God bless and keep you in this hour of despair

As Rob said, Uncle Joe was a true gentleman. He helped us see our possibilities; he showed us by his example that we could have broad horizons- that kids from an Irish family could attain high positions, good manners, good taste for the finer things. He is a part of what I hope to be.
I always think of him when I hear Vivaldi and Beethoven: he introduced me to these things and many more.
He had a strong commitment to family and to his work. He was part of the center of the family, and part of us passes with him.
We will always feel his absence. Our thoughts and prayers to Aunty Pat, and to Michael, Kathy, Dwight and the boys.

Holidays at my Uncle Joe's house were always memorable. Always a gracious host providing a gathering place for the large family. Will always remember his greeting us hello and walking us to our cars to say goodbye. Classy guy

I will miss my Uncle very much. I have so many fond memories of past holidays sharing stories and laughs. I will hold him and the memories of my Uncle near and dear to my heart. He will truly be missed. I love you Uncle Joe.
