SCHISSLER, Joseph A. With great heartache our son, brother, friend, and most importantly father Joseph (Josh) Albert Schissler passed away suddenly on November 28, 2017 in Morgan Hill, CA. Josh is the son of Leona (Long) and the late John Schissler, Jr. He is survived by children Daniel, Kathryn, Luke, Laura, former wife Deborah Schissler, partner Deborah Kelley, and siblings John (Joan), Anne Marie, Paul (Sue), Jim, Mark (Debbie), Betty (Eric), Francis, Clara (Terry), Ray (Kathy), Rosalie (Demien) and Mary (Ty). Josh graduated from John Carroll High School in Bel Air, MD and Northeastern University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. With a lifelong love of animals and the outdoors, Josh was an active member of the Northeastern University Outing Club, served youth sports programs and scouting organizations, participated in harvesting at Satori Cellars winery, played competitive volleyball, and volunteered for the American Red Cross.
