My deepest condolences on the passing of Joe. We attended Our Lady of Sorrows and Seton Hall Prep together. My fondest memories of him go back to the summer of '71 when we graduated from Sorrows and I had a pool party at my parents home...Joe was the star of that function. Rest in peace!

I met joe a few years ago through the restaurant where I worked. He was a great guy! He always had a smile and could always make us all laugh at any situation. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. I know he will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to all of the Tafaro Family. I have very fond memories of Joe going back to days at Maplewood Country Club, as toddlers, and all through Our Lady of Sorrows and Seton Hall Prep. I was fortunate enough to reconnect with Joe last year and was deeply impressed with his outlook on life. I am sorry that I could not get back to NJ for his funeral, but he will be in my thoughts. May God bless you all.

It's sad that the years take us so far away from each other, but it is wonderful how the love of good friends keep the bond intact. We have nothing but great memories. God , could he make us laugh. Nobody could do "Maxwell Smart" better. We will miss him. Our love and sympathies to the entire Tafaro family.

I have known Joe since we were kids at Our Lady of Sorrows, as well as wild and crazy teens at St. Benedict's and Seton Hall. He even managed my investments for a time -- but we haven't spoken in about 12 years years. I just found out this morning about his passing -- my brother called from NJ -- and am extremely saddened. Joe and I were VERY good friends, I have tons of fond memories, and will miss him dearly. I extend my deepest and sincerest condolences to his family. A sad day indeed.

I was very fortunate to have reconnected wth Joe about a year ago. His energy and his positive attitude were the same as I remember 30 years earlier. He was a truly unique individual and he will be sorely missed. God bless you, Joe.
