Of Wellesley, January 28. Beloved husband of Ardelle (Mason) Webster for 55 years. Devoted father of Jeanne Johnson Schaefer of Natick, Gail Ann Webster and her husband Norman Slomann of Huntington Beach, CA. Loving grandfather of Stacey Johnson of Smithfield, RI, Eric Johnson of Natick. Brother of the late Marion Canelli. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral service in the Christ Church United Methodist, 2 Brook St., Wellesley, Friday at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends Friday morning prior to service starting at 10 a.m. at the Church. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick. WWII & Korean Veteran. Founding member of Christ Church United Methodist, Wellesley and enjoyed serving in various capacities at the Church. Retiree of the Wayland School System. Past President of the Wellesey Lions Club, the Wellesley Special Police and the Square Riggers Square Dance Club of Natick & Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Joseph's memory to the Memorial Fund of the Christ Church United Methodist, 2 Brook St., Wellesley, 02482 George F.
