PETRILLO, Josephine Age 92, of Peabody, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at North Shore Medical Center, Salem Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Lynn in 1930, she was the daughter of the late Antoinetta (Villanova) and Thomas A. Petrillo, Sr. Survived by her brother, Thomas A. Petrillo, Jr. and his good friend, Rita LoPreste of Newburyport; her nieces, Karen L. McLinden and her husband, Thomas of Gilbert, AZ; and Linda J. White; and her good friend, Garrett Coscia of Haverhill; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyssa, Howie, Dan, Tim, Grace and Sam; her great-great-niece, Elizabeth; and her many cousins in Italy. She was the sister of the late Mary Petrillo and Rocco Petrillo. Visiting Hours: A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 11a.m. in St. Adelaide Church, Peabody. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday at the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), LYNN, from 9-10:15a.m. Donations in Josephine's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Jo was a bright light in my life! She supported our pro-life efforts and often wrote me cards encouraging us to continue! She would also email-sometimes getting my email address confused with her niece! We had some chuckles many times over that.

May Perpetual Light shine upon Jo. And May God grant comfort and peace to all who loved her. Well done, good and faithful servant! You will be missed.
