Kathleen C. Raitanen

RN, died Monday, July 31st, 2006, at a local nursing home, after an extended illness. A resident of Lowell, aged 82 years, wife of the late "Albert" Kauko Raitanen. Loving mother to Joan Moriarty and her husband James of Littleton, MA and Judith McGowan of Merrimack, NH. Grandmother to Christine and Carolyn Moriarty of Littleton, MA and Bill and Katherine McGowan of Merrimack, NH. Sister to Francis Leary and his wife Muriel and sister-in-law to Olive Leary all of Lowell and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John R. Leary and a dear friend of the late Alice (Dolan) Murphy. A veteran of World War II. Friends will be received at the Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Blvd. at Chester and Harvard Street on Thursday, from 3-7PM. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home, Friday, at 9AM. Her Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM at St. Margaret Church. Friends invited.
