My condolences to Steve, Suzanne and all the family.
I have just learnt that Kathy has left this life.
We 'met' through family history, and in our short friendship as 2nd cousins, I found Kathy warm, insightful, bubbly and fun, and I have missed her since illness took her energy from her.
Rest in peace, Kathy.

Dear Stephen,
Diane D'Amico [formerly Diane D'Aveni) and I (Anthony D'Amico) want to express how grateful we are to you for all you did for Mom (Marion D'Aveni) and Dad (Anthony D'Aveni). We know they are joined by your loving wife, Katherine and that in time we will all be together again in a place where peace abounds and illness vanishes. May you find joy and peace in knowing that Katherine's love lives on in you and every life blessed to know her and when you chose to share a gift she shared with you in a loving moment you resurrect her loving spirit in you and the one you chose to share her gift with.
With Love and Respect,
Diane and Anthony D'Amico

Hi Doctor Ranere. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I never had the pleasure of meeting Katherine. After reading a little bit about her, It makes sense that a wonderful man like you would have as his partner and soulmate such a wonderful woman as her. Katherine sounds like the type of person that would lite up any room she entered. Doctor Steve you have been there for so many of us not only as our Doctor, but a friend we could talk to over the years. I´m sure God Almighty and his new Angel Katherine will be there for you and your family in the days and years to follow. I know it isn´t easy, and I´m paraphrasing, but that heartbreaking grief we feel. Well the flip side is we were blessed with someone special in our life that we truly loved and they loved us. God Bless you and your family Doctor Ranere.

I´m so terribly sad to hear of Kathy´s passing. She was such a wonderful woman. Adam and I had so much fun visiting her and Doc with Steve and Kristin in both Plymouth and Italy. We have so many fond memories of participating in the crush and the press- such good times and Kathy was such a fun and excellent hostess. She loves her family above all and will be so missed. Sending love to all the Raneres.
