Keith Merrill Jr.

Of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA, February 12. A graduate of The Hill School, Yale University and Harvard Medical School, Dr. Merrill served in the U.S. Navy during the years 1945-1946 and 1954-1955. Dr. Merrill's professional accomplishments include academic positions at both Boston University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School and hospital appointments at Faulkner Hospital, New England Deaconess and Boston City Hospital Dr. Merrill was predeceased by his wife of fifty-eight years, Alice Christensen Merrill. In addition to his second wife, Mary (Wilson Neel) he is survived by his sister, Eugenia Ayer Merrill Seamans of Beverly Farms, MA, his children, Alice Rosemary Hyland of West Hartford, CT, Katharine Ellen Reeve of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA, Keith Merrill, III of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Christian Ayer Merrill of Knoxville, TN, Linda Faith Morrison of Exeter, NH., and Constance Angela Trujillo of Arroyo Seco, NM., and sixteen grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, in the First Parish Church, Congregational, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly Hospital, 85 Herrick St.. Beverly, MA 01915 or to an organization of your choice.
