Barbara, I had the great pleasure of serving on board the U.S.S. Arikara with Kenny during the VIetnam War. He was a very good friend and an exceptional man. I am so sorry that I did not keep in touch with him after he left the ship but I can remember some really great times in Honolulu, Hawaii on liberty there and other ports we visited. I remember his guitar playing and an old car he had in Pearl Harbor, a Jaguar XK-120, 1954 model. He loved music and old cars back then and I am so grateful that I was able to know him back when we were both young. I just learned of his passing yesterday and I will pray for him and you. God Bless and keep you.
