DOUGHERTY, Kevin Joseph 67, of Williamstown, MA died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his home. He was born in Newton, MA on July 29, 1946, son of the late Joseph A. and Gertrude (Connor) Dougherty. He attended schools in Falmouth and graduated from the Lawrence High School there. Kevin graduated from Williams College and received an MBA from Columbia University School of Business. Kevin served in the US Army. He was a partner at the Venture Capital Fund of New England for many years. He enjoyed golf and hockey and was a member of the Taconic Golf Club and Dedham Country and Polo Club. Kevin was also a trustee of Newton Country Day School. Survivors include his wife of thirty nine years, Moira (Ryan) Dougherty. He also leaves his daughter Maggie Dougherty and son, Michael Dougherty, both of Boston; and three brothers Joseph A. Dougherty of Hawthorne, CA; William Dougherty of Boston; and John P. Dougherty of East Greenwich, RI; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Gertrude DeMello, and two brothers, Thomas Dougherty, and Paul Dougherty. Visiting Hours in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (nr.
