KEVIN MCGRATH Obituary
Dear son of Gerald E. McGrath and the late Virginia (Dunn) McGrath. Devoted brother of Gerald E. McGrath and his wife Karin of NC, Michael F. McGrath and his wife Nikki of NM, the late Paul J. McGrath who is survived by his wife Jean (Houten) McGrath of Braintree and the late Timothy J. McGrath of NY. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be private. There will a Celebration of Kevin's Life at the Quincy Yacht Club, 1310 Sea St. in Quincy on June 25th at 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kevin's name can be made to The Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135. Kevin was a blessed gentleman who had a great spirit and love for family. Just saw him recently and he gave me an update on the latest happenings in his "Houghs Neck" neighborhood. Loved playing hockey with Kevin back in the day. "Shooting pucks" in the "Montclair" family house driveway was one of our great weekly events that was at times dangerous, but exciting..! Quincy Youth Hockey brought us all together and we still tell some great stories of the past teams and "unique" coaches. He will be missed...! R.I.P. Kevin and we will meet again..! Prayers and Blessings to his family..!

Dear McGrath Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Sending love and sympathies. Kevin was my neighbor, friend, fellow storyteller, and occasional "beverage-sharer" :) He was funny, smart, and had the biggest heart. I will miss him now and always. Every night, I have walked by his house for fifteen years and knowing he is now truly gone saddens me greatly.
