I'm so sorry for your loss. Kevin was a huge influence on my career.
When I first joined DEC in 1981, he was my guardian angel and came to Burlington VT to show his support for me when I was under a lot of criticism for implementing cycle counting vs taking an annual physical inventory. He believed in me and in the program.
Later when I moved to Acton and had several positions in Manufacturing and Engineering Finance, I regularly went to him for perspective.
I always said he was the only person who gave me a headache in meeting with him because he made me think so hard.
In one of these 1 on 1 career discussions, he asked me if I had ever been to Boston Garden and observed the banners hung in the ceiling rafters. I said I had, but then he asked what did I "see" ?
I said when I "looked" there were Celtic banners and Bruin banners.
Kevin said, "you LOOKED, you didn't SEE; the Celtics only hang world championship banners, Bruins hang any old division banner; Celtics use the those banners for dust rags."
I will never forget Kevin and his challenge to excellence and integrity. I owe him a lot and will miss him a lot.
I pray for the Lord to comfort you and give you peace and to your family,

Kevin was a valued member of Ashford community, especially in sports and support of our primary school.

Kevin was a great man and one of my best friends. He had integrity, persistence, and courage. I loved working with him and for him. He taught me and got me interested in running marathons. He was an unpretentious man, even though was a huge success in business. He took his work very seriously but never seriously. What counted in Kevin's life was his family. Kevin and I had a running tournament with our sons Sean and Eliot in golf....the Old Dogs vs. the Pups. We had fine times together even though the Pups became far better than we were. He was a unique man....whom I admired. He was a great friend and I will miss him.

The first time we met Kevin was when he came to Valencia in 1995, we then appreciated his personality and interest for people's jobs. We learned a lot from him during many years, he left many good friends in Spain.
We want to send to his family our appreciation for what he did and tell them that our hearts and prayers are with them.

Deeply saddened to hear about Kevin.
Kevin was a huge friend and mentor over the years from first joining MSL after the 3COM SLC acquisition, at RadiSys in Portland Or, networking in the west coast Irish business community and at our almost annual golf outings back east in New England. His friendship,counsel and compassion will be missed greatly. Thoughts and prayers to Kevin's family at this time.
