KEVIN SHERMAN Obituary
Kevin made an extraordinary connection with everyone he met….from the drive through at Dunkin' Donuts to his closest friends. Those who were lucky enough to cross his path were truly blessed. Always a comedian, his quick wit and sense of humor turned the most serious conversation into five minutes of stand- up…He was truly committed to and took great pride in his work at Commonwealth Financial Network where he was the Director of Technical Services and Engineering…and will be missed by the entire Commonwealth family. Kevin loved any vehicle you could live in, be it a van, RV, sailboat or spaceship. He lived life at his own pace, marching to the beat of his own drum…literally. He took immense joy sailing the ocean in his sailboat the Rebellion. Even though Kevin was an awful fisherman, he enjoyed the peace and quiet and camaraderie a failed fishing trip would bring. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Kevin looked at every angle with new business ideas every day of his celebrated life. A true artist, Kevin was a composer, a screen writer and a poet, paid only in appreciation of the creative process…Kevin's biggest fan club…Christie, Sierra, Casidy, Brooklyn, Sonny, Laureen and Chris will be carrying on his legacy with pride. Family and friends may call on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, ANDOVER, MA 01810. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham, MA at 10:00am. Interment will be at the Woodend Cemetery in Reading followed by an after party at Danversport Yacht Club. My deepest condolences to the entire family. I new the whole Sherman family for over 50 hrs. I love all of them. Kevin was always a gentleman that I new no matter what he would aspire to the top whatever profession he chose. We will all miss his pre sense but never miss his spirit.

Kevin "Sherm" Sherman was the kind of person that if you were stuck in log jam traffic with him, he would find a way to make it pleasantly tolerable. He will truly be missed but never forgotten. I would take him on my side confidentally in any scenario. I loved Kevin, and Know I will never meet anyone like him. Man, were we lucky to have met him and gotten to enjoy good times with, huh?!
He was the kind of man that no matter how long I went off the grid, when we spoke our friendship never skipped a beat. He always had my back, was always in my corner, and never looked for the acknowledgement he deserved. I'm really gonna miss you Sherm, my true friend.

I've never heard one person say a single bad word about Kevin. He was a great kid and (more importantly) he was a good man. Sherm was SO funny - maybe the funniest person I ever met. The obit hit the nail on the head - every conversation with Sherman was like sitting in on a stand-up act, except that Kevin was funnier than any stand up. He was always, every single time I ever talked to him, a positive and uplifting presence. He was a walking, talking Good Time and we will miss him terribly.
My prayers go to the family he loved. God bless you all, and rest in peace, Sherm.

My thoughts and prayers go to all of you, I am truly sorry for the loss of your son, husband and dad. I have not seen Kevin since we were younger but remember coming over to your house , and watching both Kevin and Chris while you and my parents talked and had coffee. There is a reason why people come back into your life and i am glad my parents have gotten together with you since meeting up again last fall, . Your family has gone through so much and i hope and wish for some peace for your family through all this sadness.

Kevin, you were one of the easiest people to talk to that I've ever met. You lived life the way it should be lived, to the fullest. You will be missed by so many, but never forgotten.
