So sorry to hear about Larry's passing. I had the great pleasure of working with Larry for 10 years during the creation of Eikonal systems.
My condolences to all his family.

Larry was my mentor in my teens. My father was a partner in Eikonal Systems and I would spend a significant amount of time around Larry when I was as young as 13. I always saw him as a really brilliant person and looking back on it modeled a lot of my ideas about life from just being around Larry at a young age. I remember him as a entertaining and very smart character. My Dad sometimes made jokes that I was taking after Larry. Also Larry had some great stories featuring the famous Richard Feynman. I currently work solving similar problems to what Larry was working on at Eikonal(Optical Management Software), every once in a while I remember those days at Eikonal and Larry features in those memories.

Dear Terry,
I just found out today that Larry had passed. So sorry to hear that. You and your family are in our prayers. I had the pleasure of working with Larry back in the mid-90's, converting the Eikonal code base for use by what was then CMSI, later Vision Star. His code lives on.

Larry and I were in the same graduating class at Largo HS in the late 60s. He was the smartest and coolest guy I knew, and had this great, thick head of beautiful sort of dark, auburn/brunette hair that swooped down over one eye in front. He turned me on to Bob Dylan's "Ain't Gonna Work On Maggie's Farm No More" during one of our chats between classes, and nudged me to change my name from (naive little) "Margie" to "Maggie"--a name I could grow into. That was 50 years ago, and I'm still grateful. Thanks, Larry. Sounds like your life was marvelous. I wish it could have lasted longer.
